Route 1: Route 26 to Jo Hays Vista

Take Route 45 west from Boalsburg to Pine Grove Mills, then follow Route 26 south as it climbs Tussey Mountain into Rothrock State Forest. About two miles past Pine Grove Mills, Jo Hays Vista sits at the top of the ridge with a roadside pull-off and a bench overlooking the Nittany Valley. You can see the view without leaving the car.
